TISCRAL sheets and plates are mainly made up of carbon, manganese, chromium, and molybdenum, designed to deliver outstanding hardness and strength. These plates undergo a quenching and tempering process to enhance their wear resistance. Typical mechanical properties include impressive tensile strength (up to 1000 MPa), yield strength around 850 MPa, and a Brinell Hardness Number (BHN) that ranges from 360 to 500. Built for abrasion resistance, TISCRAL plates also show good toughness and impact resistance, making them perfect for high-stress applications. They provide decent weldability and machinability when proper pre- and post-weld heat treatments are applied.
