15Mo3 Pipes are made from low-alloy steel, primarily consisting of carbon (0.12–0.20%), manganese (0.40–0.90%), molybdenum (0.25–0.35%), silicon (0.35%), along with small amounts of phosphorus and sulfur. The inclusion of molybdenum boosts their strength at high temperatures and enhances their resistance to creep and corrosion. These pipes boast impressive mechanical properties, featuring a tensile strength ranging from 440–590 MPa, a yield strength of about 265 MPa, and an elongation of 22%.
